A large Northern Caiman Lizard (Dracaena guianensis) loafs in its exhibit at the San Diego Zoo, California. These large members of the tegu family feed almost exclusively on snails and can grow over a meter in length.

i thought the one at my local zoo was just lazy i guess its just the species 
just as a example of how lazy it was its enclosure allows it to escape with ease but i think the promise of food prevents him from leaving
